About Mia's 3

I don’t think that there are enough words to describe how I felt when my daughter gave birth to her first child, Thomas. It was such an amazing and joyous day. However, I also realized that now makes me a “Grandmother”. Being young at heart I knew that I didn’t want to be called “Grandma”. As Thomas grew, and began to speak he started calling me “Mia”. You can imagine the relief that came over me and the pure excitement that he gave me the name that has now become a part of our family. A few years later my daughter blessed me again, this time not with one grandchild but with twin grandsons. Matthew and Christopher have added such energy to our family, each offering their own personality and character. As they have grown they too have called me Mia.

Our company was born when my daughter and I found that we were always searching for unique, personalized gifts for these boys and friends. Tired of the standard stuff you find in department stores we soon found a vast inventory of items and discovered how cute, adorable, and precious these items all are. Not being the selfish type, we quickly realized that we needed to share these with the rest of our family and friends. What better way to share our inventory with you than to launch a central site for your shopping needs.

We sat at the dinner table one night and thought of names to call our company. After several different attempts we came up with Mia’s 3. Mia’s 3 represents my three beautiful grandsons and life that they have put back into me. Thomas, Matthew and Christopher are three awesome boys, who offer excitement and adventure with every day.
